Simple Present - 2

பொதுவாக ஒரு Simple Present tense வாக்கியம் எப்படி இருக்கும்னு போன பதிவுல பார்த்தோம்.

Simple Present tenseல 'be verb' main verbஆ இருந்தா sentence எப்படி இருக்கும்னு பாப்போம்.

சரி be verbன்னா என்ன?

be, am, is, are, was, were, being, been.  இது எல்லாமே be verb தான்.

Simple Present tenseல am, is, are அப்படிங்கற 3 be verb மட்டும் தான் வரும்.

இந்த மாதிரி am, is, are வரக்கூடிய Simple Present tense sentenceக்கு என்ன sentence structure இருக்கும்?

Sentence structure

subject + main verb be (am, is, are)

Positive Sentence

• I + am

அதாவது I அப்படிங்கற subject வரும்போது, அதைத் தொடர்ந்து வர be verb, 'am' தான்.

Eg: I am Indian

• You, we, they + are

You, we, theyக்கு அடுத்து வர be verb, 'are' மட்டும் தான்.

Eg: You are French

• He, she, it + is

He, she, it க்கு அடுத்து வர be verb, 'is' தான்.

Eg: He is French

Negative sentence

இந்த sentenceகளுக்கும் அதே positive sentenceக்கு வர sentence structure தான்.

ஆனா, be verbக்கு அப்புறம் not வரும்.

Eg:

I + am + not + French.

You, we, they + are + not + French

He, she, it + is + not + French

Question Sentence

இதுவும் positive sentence இருக்க structure மாதிரி தான். ஆனா be verbஅ முதல்லயும், subjectஅ இரண்டாவதும் போடனும்.

Am + I + late?

Are + you, we, they + late?

Is + he, she, it + late?
